De Wandeler is a family business with a rich history dating back to 1908.

What once began as a local shop for agricultural machinery and tools in Torhout has since grown into a solid and regionally anchored SME, specialising in unique and complex customised metal constructions for industrial and non-residential construction.

With Thomas De Wandeler, the company is now headed by its fourth generation. Together with his team, he builds on the family tradition and passion for craftsmanship, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Attention to quality and safety

Quality and safety are not hollow concepts for us - we translate them into concrete commitments for which we have the necessary certificates.

EN 1090 / CE MARKING

Since 28 April 2014, we hold the FPC2+ certificate. With this CE certification, we guarantee the quality of the product through certified production processes and welding procedures. This European standard affects the entire process, from quotation to the finished construction, and is subject to strict requirements after each step.

VCA*

VCA stands for VGM Checklist Aannemers (HSE Checklist for Contractors), and is a complete program that allows companies to be structurally and objectively tested and certified on their HSE management system. With our VCA* certificate for assembly, we demonstrate that our company complies with current safety, health and environmental requirements on a large number of points.
